Because supplies can expire, even bottled water and medicine. In reference to Haiti…I assume you’re too young to remember Haiti’s history? Disaster preparedness requires planning and effective leadership, both are lacking in Haiti. And what’s to say that your supplies wont be destroyed by a tidal wave, earthquake, etc?

Tips to Prevent Wallet Theft
Today, most of men carry their valuable information, apart from cash, in their wallets. In fact, wallet theft has now become common. In other words, it is common for people to become victim of wallet theft that sometimes result in identity theft, thereby causing its real owners to pay huge amount money from his pocket. According to a recent study by credit card companies, more than 40% of identity theft occurring in the US is obtained through stolen wallets. The only way to overcome this situation is via being careful, and prevention is one of the best ways to surmount such distressing situations. Mentioned below are some important tips that help you prevent wallet theft.
As the first step, never leave your wallet that contains in it cash and information, such as credit cards, debit cards, and social security number, unattended even for a moment. Likewise, lock your wallet in a safe place like file cabinet or drawer when you need to move around in your office or work place for several purposes. Further, be careful and conscious about your wallet while dining with your girl friend in a busy restaurant or when hanging out with friends or while walking along a busy city street. It would be better if you place your wallet in front pocket or coat pocket rather than keeping it in your back pocket while in the restaurant.
Special care also be taken regarding your wallet when you are in a busy airport or metro station, as all your valid information like passport and airfare or tickets will be in the wallet. Further, you must be careful while shopping in a bustling area.
If it is not necessary, never carry more money in your wallet. At the same time, keep some money in your home as well, as it may prove useful to you if you lose your ATM card.
