Keeper Lunch
Keeper Lunch
i want to lose weight so that my husband will want me more?
help? i don’t feel good about myself and i think it will improve my marriage if i lose about 30-40lbs. I am 22 years old and 170lbs. HELP!! diet plans please!! no answers like, no carbs etc. i want to know what i should eat for breakfast, lunch and supper?? this is the plan below that i would like to try but i’m trying to find out if it’s not enough or if i should change something. I won’t change what i eat for breakfast though. it gives me lots of energy and keeps me full until lunch so it’s a keeper!
Breakfast: Mocha Shake
1 scoop protein powder, 1/2 tsp instant coffee, 2 tsp cocoa powder, 8oz vanilla soy milk
5 ice cubes
Lunch: Peanut butter & jelly sandwich, sugar free strawberry jam, low fat peanut butter, 2 slices
whole wheat Wonder plus bread with omega’s
Snack: Apple or 1 bag smart-pop popcorn
Supper: 5oz protein(chicken, beef, pork anything really), 3/4 cup brown rice or one potato and 1-2 cups of veggies
hun if you are eating like that then keep it up. the best thing you could do is run! now i know it is a pain. but im telling you becoming a runner is great you will lose the pounds fast! if you keep it up. i dont eat as healthy as you but i go to the gym if not eveyday, every other day.
Exercise 1: start off at a track or nearby park or even treadmill. since you are new to it. try runner straight for 5 minutes slow. and gradually make it longer each day. sooner or later you will be able to run 30-40 minutes straight. just build it up.
Exercise 2: now this is a lot harder but works better than running at a normal pace for 30 minutes. and its better to do it outside. at a park or track. power walk for 4 minutes and sprint as fast as you can for 30 seconds. now if you do this right you will be sore for a couple days but ive done research and supposely its the fastest way to shed pounds.
good luck to you!!! look up exercises and healthy snacks and keep it up! exercising makes you feel soo good! and starts ur day!
things to stay away from: coffee, soda, ice cream, anything fried
some healthy snacks to get: fruits. almond milk better than soy get vanilla. fish. naked juice. smoothies. nuts. hummus. grapefruit. water. salad. blueberries. oatmeal
some things i like to eat. oatmeal with honey raisins and blueberries. pita chips with hummus. protein shake for woman with vanilla almond milk with fruits and ice. slices of apples grapes smoked salmon with salad and spinach mixed with light dressing. oranges wrapped in spinach

How to Make the Work Week Fly By
There is nothing worse than looking at the clock and realizing that it’s been only 5 minutes since the last time you stole a glance. The work day can be a real drag, especially if you sit near a several different clocks. You can’t help but focus on the time because it’s all around you and its moving at a glacial pace. If this sounds like you, then there are certainly a few ways to make your work days and weeks fly by. Just follow my tips and you’re days will zip by.
1. Take frequent bathroom breaks or water breaks. It will skim at least a couple minutes here and there off of your day. As long as they’re short and sweet, your boss is unlikely to complain about your frequent bathroom breaks. It’s too awkward of a criticism to make, especially if you are still completing all of your work. If he or she does bring it up, you can counter it with several not so pleasant excuses.
2. Cover up your clock(s). Obsessively checking the time makes the work days seem much longer than they are, so stop looking. Cover up the clocks around you if you can. If there’s one on your computer screen cover it with a post-it and don’t be tempted to take a peek. Also consider moving you desk if it’s facing in the direction of one of the time keepers.
3. Make some friends at work. If you have to someone to chat with and incessantly complain with, your day will go by a whole lot faster. Just keep the chatter to a minimum when your boss walks by.
4. Take a short lunch. By taking the shortest lunch you can, you will obviously be cutting of some time from the work day. It’s unbelievable how great it feels just leave even fifteen minutes earlier than usual, give it a try. If you must take a lunch, why not do some exercise ball exercises? Burning a few calories and releasing some endorphins will at least make the rest of the bearable.
5. Listen to some tunes. If you are able to listen to music even for part of your day, it will make it go so much faster. Play some of your favorites tunes and rock out for most of the day. Time will fly by and you’ll be out of there in no time.
6. Work hard. While this is obviously the least attractive option in this list, working extra hard will certainly distract you from the time you are spending at your desk. It may not be fun, but there are more benefits than just make the time move quickly, you might get a raise.
No body likes the monotonous forty-day work week, but you probably don’t have much choice in the matter. So do whatever you can the get through the days and you’ll be partying it up this coming weekend.
