I need help with diciding if I am buying / bidding on work Furby. Original says 1st Generation 1998 gray and pink Furby (eyes closed) RETIRED! 1st Generation Original 1998 Furby White (eyes closed) RETIRED! Liberty Limited Edition Furby "He retired means that you do not know why that is work of closed eyes? I tried to contact the owner, but who have not responded. Please let me know, I wanted to my kids this, but if they do not work. Thanks! Well answered them and said only this, they all work. they all are in perfect condition. I think eyes open but not sure. Ugh. I do not think they understand that I know nothing about these toys.

A pink slip can improve your life

We are all programmed from an early age, both consciously and sub-conciously, expect certain things happen in life. High on the priority list is that we have to work for a living, and that the salary will be used to pay taxes and a series of recurring costs than ever, simply disappear. So we must work continuously until retirement – and perhaps for retirement.

When that terrible day when they losing his job and feels like the end of the world. real fear that the future is a common reaction. The loss of that regular paycheck brings panic.

Then there are all the other feelings of failure and concern. Here are few emotions, which I also shared from time to time:

"You will never win a good salary with benefits matching again."

"I'm too old. Nobody I will hire. "

"I've been doing the same job for nine years – I know nothing more."

"There are simply too many unemployed people who do what I do, and therefore will be almost impossible to get another job."

Click OK. So there are some really negative thoughts.

Now I will highlight some of the immediate benefits that many people may experience.

Let's use Jane as an example. She just lost her job as a computer programmer. She has been earning good money and enjoyed reasonable benefits including health care for 11 years. She feels completely lost in the moment because the chances of obtaining similar employment and salary seem somewhat bleak.

But here are some other aspects of the life of Jane. She is bored with his job for several years and in recent years did not feel that their skills are valued in truth or tested.

She got along well with everyone at work, but did not care much for a couple of leaders who seemed to regularly make bad decisions that impacted its workload.

In the last two years had been warned that the cuts will come due to outsourcing. Rumors of possible completion dates came and went, but every time I have been raised that caused more sleepless nights and fears.

The daily misery of life in the office was not something that could easily be disconnected once they returned home. Sometimes you feel obliged to whine to your partner about what was happening, to the point of tears on occasion.

In summary, strains of workplace was at the time the loss of their natural brightness and zest of actual days of life. It was like being on a boat and know that sinks slowly but wan't to stay dry during as long as possible.

So the immediate impact of job loss is that many of the background every day concerns and have now complains disappeared.

Now all the emphasis on ensuring a future work, and I enjoyed reminding her of why she should be excited and feel positive.

First there are literally thousands of possible career options. would be obvious to consider retraining in computers (software skills learning which are usually scarce), or perhaps consider their passions (. for example, cooking and languages.)

Now here are some of the "Hidden" skills they missed on a resume, but a potential employer would be as intelligent in an instant.

She had worked for a major corporation to do a complex job for a long period of time – which shows the reliability, real-world skills, confidence, and that turned out to be a player equipment.

She is also a great people person with a big personality – and would be ideal for a job involving greeting or business dinners or work promotion. This opens a wide range of possible career options.

Now that your old job is gone is a golden opportunity to move, possibly to another place where there is more work available, and / or another place that is simply more attractive – such as offering a lower cost of living, more space, one year warm climate all, a better sport or social life.

So it's really important to re-evaluate your current priorities and objectives real in life, they may well be different now than when you first have lost their jobs for so many years. At the time it began buying a TV, the furniture, a house or saving for a new car may have been the obvious priorities. Now that you've made some (not all) of these goals is what they really want to life now?

Would you accept, for example, to earn much less money, but a truly happy in their new job? Such as converting a hobby into a business, or simply taking a job that is fun? Imagine waking in the morning and looking forward to going to work. That really is the reality for many people.

Or are we going to see their new goal is to make the same, if not more money than he did before?

There is no magic solution here. In all these cases, the most likely, you will have a period which could be weeks, months or even years (depending on the complexity of the changes made) if you are going to have to "take a step back to move two steps forward."

Thus in the "doing the same amount of money "situation that you need to look at which races to achieve this objective, the level and duration of training required and possible potential rewards. In other words, short-term financial sacrifices (and even some difficulty) for long-term benefits.

Today, no job is completely sure, but definitely there are areas that have traditionally proven to be much safer than others … for example, government jobs, public transport, education.

Jane was not born to be a computer programmer. It is simply a work she calls on all those years. She can now decide stay in the field, get a job somehow related, or branch into a whole new direction.

If you move the thinking out of the fear factor of facing the unknown is a real challenge, and Jane is, frankly, difficult. His security blanket has been torn away from it. But with the encouragement and some Positive and creative thinking is beginning to see some of the exciting possibilities that could lie ahead.

In the short term may have Jane to struggle financially and accept a temporary job to meet its financial obligations. But there is no real reason why she can not replace what she had once with similar or even better in the years ahead. Something much more satisfying that improves their quality of life on many levels.
